This book gives an insight into the grace of God and how privileged we are to be a part of this latter rain. It also explains some of the weaknesses of the Law and the impact that God’s grace can bring when fully understood and properly applied. It emphasizes that grace empowers, enables and makes all the difference in the life of a believer. It shows how the Law could make us focus on sin and how grace makes us focus on the Son. This book portrays, in contrast to many beliefs, that the grace of God draws us to love God and thereby hate sin like He does.
It has quite a number of chapters and shows how the whole of our lives here on earth revolve round the availability of the grace of God.
Reading this book will make you discover that God’s grace does not stop at the salvation level. It continues till me meet with our Lord and savior because absence of it only brings disgrace.
We will find out that there is grace to obey, grace to serve, that our gifting and anointing are according to the grace of God. This is why rather than ask for more anointing I love to ask for more grace. The book further reveals that we were called by grace, saved by grace and also delivered by grace.
It further reveals the fact that every believer has a measure of grace given to us when we were saved. The irony here is the fact that if it took the grace of God to save us, it will take his grace to keep and build us as we grow. All that we will ever be as believers will depend on the level of application of the grace of God upon our lives.
There are several believers saved by grace but walking according to the law. For such the bible refers to them as those people whose grace of God over their lives are in vain or people who have fallen from grace. It simply means that the coming of Christ, His crucifixion, resurrection and ascension were all in vain for them.
Furthermore, there is a lot of room to grow in this grace either through humility or through a deeper level of revelation of the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The book talks also about the only power over sin as the power of God’s grace. This is why sin cannot have dominion (control, manipulate, lead or possess) a believer.
It concludes by showing us the pathway to the Throne of His grace where there is a 24×7 release of God’s grace and mercy where help is forever available in times of need.
